Recent Rule Changes:
R81-1-27: Label Approvals: Provides procedures for manufacturers to apply for label and package approvals for malt beverages.
R81-4D-1: On-Premise Banquet Facilities: Eliminates the requirement that a convention center must be a minimum of 30,000 square feet in size.
R81-4D-2: On-Premise Banquet Facilities: Gives the department authority to approve additional locations within the on-premise banquet facility and sets guidelines for that approval.
R81-1-10: Wine Dispensing: This rule was deleted in its entirety. This means licensees are not longer required to keep wine dispensing records.
R81-3-13: Package Agencies: Permits package agencies located at resorts (type-1), event centers (type-4), and in wineries, distilleries, and breweries (type-5) to be open on election days.
R81-3-14: Type-5 Package Agencies: Permits distilleries and breweries to have a type-5 package agency on their premises where they can sell their own products. Wineries are already afforded this opportunity.
R81-5-11: Private Clubs: Eliminates the requirement for private clubs to make their alcoholic beverage price list a part of their house rules.
R81-7-1: Single Event Permits: Implements new law changes which create two types of single event permits, (1) allows a qualified applicant to apply for up to four 120-hour permits, or (2) allows a qualified applicant to apply for up to twelve 72-hour permits.
R81-10-1: Off-Premise Beer Retailers: Establishes guidelines for off-premise beer retailers (grocery and convenience stores) to separate alcoholic beverages from non-alcohol beverages, and requires specific signage in the area where alcoholic beverages are displayed.
