Licenses and permits are issued by the Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission, a part-time governing board that meets only once a month, usually on the second Tuesday.  Because of this, you must submit your application to the Licensing & Compliance Division by the 10th of the month to allow sufficient time for processing.  Once your application and supporting documentation is complete, you will be notified of the meeting date and time that your application will be considered by the Commission.  All retail licenses will be required to meet PROXIMITY REQUIREMENTS to businesses who may be located too close to schools, churches, parks, playgrounds, and libraries.

Local Consent

All Retail Licenses and Permits and some wholesale licenses require local consent from the jurisdiction where a licensee is located. Individual forms for download are listed below. For more information, contact the DABC License and Compliance Division at (801) 977-6800.
