Price Lists Policies

Introduction

This policy outlines the types of price lists available from the DABC purchasing division.

Policy

The purchasing division maintains, publishes, and distributes price lists in the following formats:

    1. Master Category Price Lists (all status codes):
      1. Effective Date
      2. Major Categories (alpha code and name)
      3. Subcategories:
        1. Effective date
        2. Control States code
        3. Size
        4. Case pack
        5. Product Name
        6. Status
        7. Per ounce cost
        8. Price - old and new
        9. Comments
    2. Numeric Price List (all status codes - sorted by control states code):
      1. Effective Date
      2. Control States code
      3. Universal product code
      4. Size
      5. Case pack
      6. Product name
      7. Status
      8. Per ounce cost
      9. Price - old and new
      10. Comments
      11. Categories
      12. Vendor (name limited to the first 16 characters)
      13. Representative (name limited to the first 14 characters)
    3. Alpha Price List (sorted by product name):
      1. Effective date
      2. Control States code
      3. Size
      4. Case pack
      5. Product name
      6. Status
      7. Per ounce cost
      8. Price - old and new
      9. Comments
      10. Categories
    4. Outlet Price Change List

This is a numeric list of the items carried by a specific state store or package agency which have changed prices.

  1. Military Price List (for military use only):
    1. Effective date
    2. Control States code
    3. Size
    4. Case pack
    5. Product name
    6. Status
    7. Per ounce cost
    8. Military price (recent past and current) - 15% above landed cost
    9. Comments

DISTRIBUTION OF PRICE LISTS:

Effective with the publication of the January 2013 price books, printed copies of the DABC Price Books will be available by subscription only.  A 12-month prepaid subcription program is available in the purchasing division.  Beginning in December 2012, DABC Price Books will be posted to the DABC Web page upon publication of the printed price books.

State stores and package agencies shall not supply licensees with copies of the price lists.

STATE STORES:

A copy of lists 1 through 3 shall be mailed to each state store.  Any request for additional copies must be made to the puchasing division and will be furnished only upon demonstration of need.

PACKAGE AGENCIES:

A copy of the Category Price List and the Outlet Price Change List shall be mailed to package agencies.  Package agencies may contact their regional manager or the purchasing division for a substitution of the Category Price List with any of the other lists.  Additional copies of any of the price lists may be purchased through a 12-month prepaid subscription program.  Subscription rates are set by the purchasing division and are reviewed annually.

LICENSEES:

Licensees wishing to obtain printed copies of the price lists may obtain them through a 12-month prepaid subscription program that is available through the purchasing division.  Subscription rates are set by the purchasing division and are reviewed annually.

SUPPLIER REPRESENTATIVES/SUPPLIERS:

Supplier Representatives/Suppliers wishing to obtain printed copies of the price lists may obtain them through a 12 month prepaid subscription program that is available in the purchasing division.  Subscription rates are set by the purchasing division and are reviewed annually.

The mailing list for all of the above shall be maintained by the purchasing division.

If any additions or changes to the mailing list for the above price lists are made within five working days before publishing (refer to DABC fiscal calendar) the additions or changes shall take place the following month.
